Delete your FINCALC AI account
You can delete your FINCALC AI account and the data associated with it at any time, either inside the app or by request through this page. Both routes delete the same data; the in-app route is immediate.
- Open FINCALC AI and go to More → Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice.
The app then, in this order:
- Asks our server to delete your account (see What is deleted below). This happens immediately; there is no waiting period.
- Removes your saved calculations, favorites, AI conversations and exam history for that account from this device.
- Resets the billing identity and signs you out on this device.
If our server cannot be reached, the app still clears the data on your device and tells you that server-side deletion did not complete; contact support@fincalcai.com and we finish it for you.
Option 2 — By request (without the app)
Send an email to privacy@fincalcai.com from the email address you used to sign in (Sign in with Apple users: the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings works too). Use the subject line Delete my FINCALC AI account. We verify the request against the sign-in email and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by email.
What is deleted
On our servers (Supabase), deleting the account removes:
- Your account record, including the Sign in with Apple or Google identity linked to FINCALC AI.
- Everything stored under your account ID: the subscription status mirror, AI usage counters and the AI request log, AI content reports you submitted, saved AI Operator runs, Google Sheets connection sessions, the Sign in with Apple token described below, and billing webhook receipts that reference your account.
Two further steps run as part of the same deletion:
- Sign in with Apple. If you signed in with Apple, we ask Apple to revoke FINCALC AI’s authorisation for your Apple ID, so the app no longer appears under Sign in with Apple in your Apple ID settings. Revocation needs the sign-in token the app registers with our server at sign-in time. If that token is not on file (for example, you signed in with an earlier app version) or Apple cannot be reached, the account is still deleted and you can remove the authorisation yourself: iPhone Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → FINCALC AI → Stop Using Apple ID.
- Subscription provider (RevenueCat). We delete your customer record in RevenueCat, which stores purchase and entitlement state under your account ID. If that step cannot be completed, the account is still deleted and the record is removed on request through privacy@fincalcai.com.
What is kept, and why
- Purchase receipts held by Apple or Google under their own terms. Cancel any active subscription in the App Store or Google Play before deleting; deleting the account does not cancel a subscription.
- Crash reports sent to our diagnostics service are retained for up to 90 days and are not linked to your account after deletion.
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
- Records we are legally required to retain for fraud prevention or accounting, for the statutory period only.
Data stored only on your device (calculation history, favorites, settings) is removed by the in-app flow, or by uninstalling the app.
